GoyDNS

This page is for law enforcement and other compulsory process. Informal requests are not process. We will fight legal claims as much as possible.

Jurisdiction

We only accept binding legal process that applies to our jurisdiction. Foreign process, informal mutual-assistance fishing, letters that are not orders, and demands from authorities outside our jurisdiction are not enough on their own.

What we can and cannot produce

We do not log DNS queries. We do not log DoH or DoT clients. We do not keep resolver traces or "who looked up this name." If your demand asks for query logs, client IPs, or connection history for DNS, the answer is that those records do not exist and cannot be created after the fact.

What may exist, if you identify a specific account or zone we actually host: that this token-hash account owns a named zone, and the records currently published for that zone. We do not keep the 16-digit token in recoverable form.

How to ask

Send process to abuse@goydns.com with "Legal process" in the subject. Specify the exact zone, account token if you lawfully have it, and time range. Do not request client IPs or query logs. Do not attach a dragnet for "anyone who ever queried X."

We will narrow, reject, or challenge overbroad demands. We will not volunteer extra fields. Where we are lawful to notify the user, we will.
