GoyDNS is an authoritative nameserver. These Terms bind anyone who registers, pays, or points a name here. There is no SLA. There is no uptime warranty.

1. Scope and acceptance

1.1These Terms bind GoyDNS. Registering an account, paying, or pointing a name at the nameservers is acceptance. No other writing is required.

1.2GoyDNS is an authoritative nameserver. It answers for zones an account has published here and refuses the rest. It will not recurse. It will not sell a registration. It will not keep a mailbox.

1.3What is bound: the nameservers ns1.goydns.com and ns2.goydns.com, the dashboard, the JSON API, MCP, DNSSEC signing, and DNS-over-HTTPS and DNS-over-TLS for hosted names.

1.4Title to a name sits with the registry and with the registrar of record. Lock, transfer, and cancellation sit there also. GoyDNS does not sell names. GoyDNS does not decide who owns one.

1.5The box is as-is. There is no warranty of merchantability, of fitness, or of continuous operation. Outages occur. Time is not credited for them. Money is not refunded for them. Consequential damages are not taken. There is no SLA.

2. Accounts

2.1An account is a token, shown once. TOTP may be added later.

2.2Register asks for no email, no telephone, and no identity paper. There is no reset and no recovery.

2.3Lose the token and the account is gone. The token, and the keys cut from it, are to be kept secret. Activity under them is the holder's.

2.4New accounts get seven days of Pro. After that, hosting is prepaid crypto.

2.5When trial or paid time ends, seven days of grace follow. Domains stay published in grace.

2.6When grace ends, the nameserver unpublishes. Zone data stays ninety days. Pay in that window and the same domains return.

2.7API keys and MCP take the same caps as the dashboard. A key is not the login token.

3. Sister service

3.1GoyMail is sister mail at shabbos.to, run by the same operators. It is not DNS hosting. It is not this product.

3.2A GoyDNS token is not a mailbox. A GoyMail token is not a GoyDNS account. Logins, zones, and mail are not shared.

3.3Using one does not open the other. These Terms stop at GoyDNS.

4. Payments and plans

4.1Hosting is crypto only. No cards. No banks. No KYC.

4.2The table is catalog USD. Checkout quotes coin at the invoice.

4.3Credit lands at the first confirmation. The Operator keeps watching until that coin's settle depth.

4.4If a credited payment later leaves the chain, the credit is taken back. If the account is then unpaid, hosting unpublishes. A bounce skips grace. The funds did not stay.

4.5No refunds after credit or paid time is provisioned.

4.6Plans, prices, and caps (domains / records / keys):

4.7A year is priced as ten months.

4.8Amounts at /donate are gifts. They do not buy hosting, trial, or plan credit.

5. Domains and records

5.1Host up to the plan caps in section 4. The holder must have the right to point the name here. Ownership fights are not heard here.

5.2User record types:

5.3Wildcard hosts: * as the leftmost label.

5.4SOA, NS, and DNSSEC are server-made. You do not publish your own NS or DS. Names under goydns.com are reserved.

5.5A and AAAA must be public addresses. Loopback, RFC 1918, and documentation ranges are refused.

5.6At the registrar, set NS to:

5.7Glue for those names lives on goydns.com. Signing is on for hosted domains. Paste DS from CDS at the parent. Until that DS is in the parent, validating resolvers may SERVFAIL.

5.8If those NS names are in place and Header is on, the domain may appear in the site header.

6. Queries

6.1Names we do not host are refused on UDP and TCP 53, on DNS-over-HTTPS, and on DNS-over-TLS. This is not a public recursor. It will not become one.

6.2Query logs are not stored. Questions are answered for hosted names and forgotten. They are not written to a QNAME, client-IP, DoH, or DoT log. See Privacy.

7. Abuse

7.1There is no abuse desk, no trust-and-safety queue, and no takedown portal.

7.2A name is a registry object. Content, marks, and hostnames belong at the registrar of record and at the TLD. See Abuse.

8. Legal claims

8.1We will fight legal claims as much as possible. Informal mail, foreign-only paper, and fishing expeditions get a no. Overbroad demands are narrowed, objected to, or challenged. Extra fields are not volunteered.

8.2Query logs, resolver logs, and client IPs for DNS cannot be produced. They are not kept. They cannot be made later. See Leo and Privacy.

8.3The Operator does not cooperate with law enforcement. There is no duty to. Voluntary assistance is not offered. Particulars: Leo.

9. Overlay

9.1Onion, I2P, and Yggdrasil are the same product and the same caps.

9.2Host-only cookies, no HSTS. Overlay cookies are not marked Secure.

9.3A down overlay does not suspend these Terms. Canonical URLs stay on goydns.com.

10. Changes

10.1Caps, transports, prices, and this text may change. Use after a change is acceptance.
